Sometimes simple, but always decedent - {Square Meal} is my favorite food blog. The imagery is not only mouth-watering, but so creative. Alicia, who also runs "Fox on the Run" {another one of my favorites}, illustrates that her passion is food but in a way that is beautiful and artistic. I come here when I'm looking for a good recipe, a beautiful illustration, or an idea for my lunch the next day.

blog of the week | Design*Sponge

This week, I bring you a gem. {Design*Sponge} is on my list of favorites for numerous reasons:

1. The Before-and-After interior design makeovers makes me look at my own decorating choices in a new and different way.
2. The voice of Grace Bonney is so down to earth. She makes you look and feel like you know just as much about this stuff as she does.
3. The book, like I mentioned yesterday, is a "design bible" according to Jonathon Adler. It has become B.F.F. with the floor beside my bed because I read it until the moment I fall asleep and end up dropping it.
4. The trickets, accessories, and odds-&-ends she finds are truly lust-worthy!
5. The D.I.Y. projects makes me long for a rainy Saturday. I could pick one of my favorite projects (like {this} or {this}), get all the supplies needed, and spend the day trying to make it look as perfect and as cute as it does on the site.

blog of the week | For Me, For You

Kate Miss, the author of {For Me, For You} has a lot of good stuff to share each and everyday. Being a talented graphic design (just take a look at her portfolio) , the "bits of her weekend" and other interesting finds that she captures within her world are my favorite part about this blog. Her photography is so beautiful that sometimes I want to print it up and hang it on my wall.

Kate captures the essence of a creative Los Angeles girl that has had a taste of the world. It is obvious she is a person that recognizes the beauty in the objects around her. She digests architecture, fashion, art and life whole-heartedly and communicates that passion to her readers.

The thing I love about Kate is that she still seems like a nice girl. The kind of girl you would want to be friends with. I think in the blog world, a lot of people come off full of themselves but Kate just seems like she wants to share the things that make her happy with the rest of the world. And I'm thankful for that!

{Design Crush} is this week's "blog of the week" and I can't believe I've waited to so long to share it with you!

Kelly Beall of {Design Crush} gives her readers a feast for the eyes with every original post. Everything goes back to the author's desire to find inspiration, clean design, and skillful artwork in all shapes and forms. Whether it be in cookies (pictured above) or jewelry or home decor, Beall can pinpoint what she likes and why she likes it in her short-and-sweet blogging style.

If you just have 30 seconds of break time, I suggest checking out "Design Crush" to get the creative juices going again!

blog of the week | Because I'm Addicted

Check out Geri Hirsch's {about me} page and you will begin to understand why she is my pick for the "blog of the week".

{Because I'm Addicted} is a well-maintained blog about everything this girl is into. The reason that I love her is because it's exciting to find someone out there with the same tastes as yourself. This is what I found with {Because I'm Addicted}. She's a girl I could be friends with and we would have a lot to talk about.

Her interests, style and aesthetic range from earthy hippie to fashion-conscious "it girl". One minute, she's putting up posts about recent J.Crew lookbooks and the next is about some new and different art discovery or cool recipe.

In a world of many blogs, it's rare to come across one that really makes you say, "I love that!" or "I've never seen that before!" to every post.

blog of the week | Cupcakes and Cashmere

All the blogs I've mentioned here (and that I have yet to mention here) are all equal in my book. They all provide me with a ton of inspiration, happiness and motivation to do what I'm doing right now. However, if I had to choose a favorite - {Cupcakes and Cashmere} would definitely be in the running.

Emily Schuman has maintained consistent, daily posts revolving around the topics of food, fashion, and creative projects for over three years now. I first stumbled upon {Cupcakes and Cashmere} when I was an intern at a publishing house in Detroit. It was my first taste of cubicle life, and instantly I needed a creative escape.

I remember when I found it, I went home that night and read each and every post that came before that. It was my first impression of "fashion blogging" and instantly I was hooked. A real girl, my age, is just being herself, yet still is sharing daily inspiration from a seemingly beautiful life.

And a beautiful life, Emily does have. Since I've been reading, she has had partnerships with Forever 21 (I walked by the storefront once, and there she was on a giant poster in the window), designed her own bag with Coach, and most recently paired up with Stylemint as the guest stylist of the month of November.

There is nothing I don't love about this blog. I hope you enjoy her as much as I do.
